NASA Funds telescope to track Near Earth Objects
NASA reportedly funded the New Mexico Tech's Magdalena Ridge Observatory for it's Asteroid Observations. The observatory is working on its 2.4 meter (8 foot diameter) telescope to keep track of potentially dangerous Near Earth Objects and large asteroids that might be on a collision course with earth.
